Day 2 - Standing Outside the Fire

Larkin had a big week last week - visitors!
In honor of Aunt Shara and Uncle Wes being in town, Papaw and LaLa threw a bonfire party one evening.

It started off with golf lessons from Uncle Wes, who is our newest resident expert.
Keep this picture. One day it could be the cover of ESPN magazine, similar to Tiger's.

But as soon as friends arrived, Larkin abandoned lessons.

Then came the food. It didn't take mong for him to focus on the important part of the Bonfire.
Marshmellows!

The fire was big and the sticks were short.

Larkin needed a little help roasting, and a little help eating.
But the smores were a big hit all around.

So was playing with friends!

Eventually Aunt Shara broke out the Ol' Campfire Songs.
Larkin ghot his first taste of "The Chicky Chicky Beat".
Hopefully the first of many, if he goes to church camp.

As the evening ended, we topped it off with a little ice cream (or two - Carter).
