Feelin Good and Hungry

Skyline time!

Yes, that's right. Larkin had his first Skyline experience! Auntie Amber treated us to some coneys over the weekend. Larkin was awake for about 2 minutes of the outing, which was fine by Amber and I. Screaming baby does not make for good catching up time. Asleep or not, he seemed to really enjoy the coneys!
In other big firsts, Larkin attended the wedding of our cousin Joe and Katie.

Larkin and I watched the ceremony from inside because I did not want to be that person with the child who cries in the middle of the most important day of someone's life. Of course it didn't make much difference in the end since this is what Little Larkin did during the entire ceremony:

As well as the rest of the event. He slept THE WHOLE TIME. Phillip was in the wedding so we were all dressed up and looking our best, but he still did not want to even get out of his seat.

I finally woke him up to feed him so I could put him down for the night, and he went right back to sleep. So we got to dance and be adults for a little bit while family and friends watched (literally) our sleeping baby.

We had a busy weekend and you were so good the whole time! Each day I see a change in you and you grow so fast. That's not a newborn outfit you're wearing, although the shoes Monica got you are still a bit big. I'm OK with that. You did stare at your baseball toy for the first time recently. It's been attached to your seat since before you were born so it was pretty exciting to see you respond to it. Before we know it you'll be reaching up to pull it down yourself! For now, we'll let Jax pull it for you since he seems to enjoy it a lot too.
