Maris is 7 months old!
Maris Monthly Review - Issue 7
- Seven months old and check her out - reached my favorite milestone: sitting up unassisted. We are in the sweet spot right now. You can sit up on your own but can't yet get down and take off crawling.
- Of course the sitting is only good until you find your toes. Then you are so enamored with them that you face plant trying to see them close up.
- You are size 3 diapers and mostly 6 month clothes, with some 6-9 month in there as well.
- You sleep 7:30 pm to 7:00 am regularly and the naps are sticking with the same pattern: short morning, long afternoon. Still mostly in the swing, but if that's the worst habit you have, then I'm not complaining.
- This month you got to visit the zoo in a new way; similar to that of a kangaroo. Riding in the carrier. As far as I can tell, you love it. In fact, you are comfortable enough in it to pass out while shopping at Target. People stared.
- And look at this new excitement. Food!! Baby cereal FTW.
- There is some trepidation.
- But it really is more of a confusion about what to do with it once it is in your mouth. 75% of it comes back out, but that statistic is improving everyday.
