Welcome to Larkin's 4th Birthday party...
RACIN' SNAILS!
He was too excited to eat. Seriously. Thrilled.
So it didn't take long to break out the racing-themed games.
Everyone got in on the action of racing marbles, and Larkin was the official whistle blower.
Then we moved on to the crowd favorite: Water Balloon Toss.
Watson was the ball boy/water boy.
He hooked everyone up and then they fought over who got the smallest one.
Larkin's tee ball skills came in handy. Point, step, throw.
He couldn't catch, but that's not important when Watson is handing out balloons.
Anytime one broke, he was quick to bring a replacement. This was a marathon toss.
"Here go Har-ee"
(That's Watson speak for "Here you go, Shara")
There was a tiny bean bag toss, but they lost interest.
This was more fun. They are actually doing the exact same thing as I write this. Indoors, minus the water balloons. Larkin keeps yelling "Party in the tube!!"
Larkin moved things along to presets pretty soon after that.
His reaction to all the presents was almost exactly the same. Still thrilled.
He wasn't quite as pumped about the piece of paper that he opened, but I'm hoping the excitement will come when they drop the swing set off at our house. Or maybe in a few months when it finally gets assembled.
Everyone else was excited about cake.
Especially this guy.
Larkin ate his icing, then had to spend some time recovering from all the fun.
