Laughing with Larkin

Larkin is getting smarter and smarter. Talking with him - or just listening to him - is getting funnier and funnier. Here are a few recent things heard around here.

Current favorite expression: "Ohhhhh SWEET!"

Larkin: "Knock, Knock"
Mommy: "Who's there?
Larkin: "Chuckin"
Mommy: "Chuckin who?
Larkin: "Chuck E Cheese!"
(This would be from Sid the Science Kid who does knock knock jokes most episodes. Not about Chuck E Cheese; that was a Larkin original.)

Check out the PJs. Now that Watson is around, Daddy dresses Larkin most nights.

While holding a snake at the zoo...
Daddy: "What does the snake feel like?"
Larkin: "A snake!"

Larkin: "T-A-R-G-E-T..spells Super Why!"
(He reads the letters off every sign he sees. Then makes up what they say.)
Or the Word World influence...
Reading the mat outside our door: "W-E-L-C-O-M-E, spells rug!"

Wearing his "curls". And laying on his "pillow", otherwise known as a diaper. This was one of the last nights with paci.

 

Larkin: "Good morning, Baby. Glad you came today."

 

After dropping a piece of his lunch on the ground...

 "It's OK jelly sandwich. Larkin to the rescue!"

 

Taking a picture (with a sideways camera), and saying "CHEESE!".
