One More Memorial Day

You can tell they are Link's for 2 reasons.

1. Papaw isn't wearing a shirt so we must be at the River.

2. That looks like the beginnings of a water balloon toss.

Definitely Link.

And what is a Memorial Day without a Slip n Slide?

At least this time Larkin was brave enough to step onto the thing.

Mostly just because he wanted a drink.

Then someone reminded us that the water out of the hose isn't safe for drinking, so there went all his fun.

But there were other water related activities going on as well.

This is one fierce water ballooner.

And there were Birthdays as well. For Daddy...

And Papaw...

So there was cake.

Good cake.

The night was capped off with a trip down to the River bank.

This was confusing (?)

 Why is he making that face?

It didn't take long for Larkin to jump right in (NOT into the water!) and start throwing rocks.

But his true joy was looking for sea river shells.
