Memorial Day Some More

Larkin's Kick-off to Summer continues!

The second Memorial Day gathering was with the Gillespies.

It started out like this...

But quickly deteriorated to THIS:

That's right. Red Neck Larkin running around in his diaper.

To be fair, it was only because someone brought the Ol' Slip n Slide (and didn't warn us).

But Larkin is a bit of a wimp so he skipped the Slide and went to the dumping-water-on-my-own-head phase. Much less intimidating.

Then it was time for a break.

He also got to drive Papaw's red hot rod. It says "vroom vroom"

Larkin repeats that phrase about 50 times each day.

Then Daddy brought out one of the new kittens. Larkin thought it was cute. But he did NOT want to touch it (remember the wimp?).

Good thing he's cute.

Of course when Uncle Ranger John broke out the snakes, he was all about petting THEM.

 Seriously pumped.

Wait a sec. Let's go back to the cutest little friends ever.

Second only to their mommies.
