Family from Far Away

Family came to visit!

They weren't able to make it at the same time so we enjoyed visitors for 2 weekends. We all had a blast!

The boys enjoyed their cousin Austin a whole lot.

Especially the fact that he sleeps in his underwear. Major excitement.

 

 

There was lots of playing, lots of food, every peanut butter thing ever created,

 

And lots of water!

We got to spend a little time celebrating Miss Lee with a pink Birthday cake.

 

And we taught these southerners all about Cincinnati Style Chili.

 

Also, ice cream from Papaw after chili.

 

Now it's our turn to make a trip to Georgia to visit them.

 

 

Next it was time for Gramps and Grammy to have a visit.

So we did it big.

 

This place was weird and the boys didn't know what to expect...

 

But it didn't take long for Gramps and Grammy to jump right in and make friends with the locals.

Of course first we had to make sure we were properly attired.

 

 

 

Then we were ready to try out the Western customs.

 

 

There's gold in them there, er.... bowls.

 

The entertainment was top-notch. For Bethel.

 

Good thing it was a rainy day. There were very few other people there so perfectionist-Larkin could take all the time he needed to actually rope himself a steer.

 

And Wat had to master the weapons. Surprise.

 

There was lots of greasy food and singing of Home on the Range.

 

 

A good time was had by all.



And then we got to celebrate Baby Maris AGAIN!

 

She didn't mind.
