Movin on Up (and Out)

No, not the Taylors.  But Larkin's Papaw and LaLa recently made the big move... 20 years in the making.

 Wait!  Not the blue one.

 Or the yellow one...

 There it is!

This has been in progress for a few weeks now, but Baby Larkin just now got to pitch in and help pack up. 

As you can see, he over-packed this box with a bunch of toys that he hasn't yet played with.  No biggie - we'll just tape it closed!

He also made the rounds to double check that everything was labeled correctly. This was pretty simple since 85% of the boxes said "Basement".

Oh, and there's a turkey tail.  Lying on top of a Vodka box.  Dad and his dumpster diving.

Larkin took part in writing the "History of the House" on the attic hole cover.  He got to leave his foot mark behind.

The people moving in are going to think the Gillespie's are wacko.

FINALLY, some actual moving took place. 

But Larkin didn't get to help with that.  It snowed, of course, so he got bundled up and shipped off to play with his friends Erica, Savannah, and Carter.

The rest of us got down to business.

Cleaning business!

Or trying-not-to-puke business.

And then it was empty and ready to be filled with someone else's memories.
