We had a spooky Halloween!
The gang came to us this year for a new Halloween tradition.
After years of having it at Papaw and LaLa's:
And a few years at Aunt Pam and Uncle Dick's:
The new home of the Gillespie Halloween is our own front yard. At least for now.
(We kept the chili though. No need to fix what isn't broken)
This little owl was ready to go out for some sugar.
And the rest of them followed their leader, the Ninja Turtle through the streets.
They were shocked and horrified to find this guy when they opened the door.
But the put on brave faces when I made them all take a pic.
And as the sun went down we headed back inside for the big candy count and trade.
These guys held down the fort at the homestead. Tucked inside because of the occasional drizzle.
But this baby held on through it all so she could show off her tacky-explosion Halloween outfit.
