Maris is 9 Months old!
Maris Monthly Review - Issue 9
- Doc visit this month! You are 27.2 inches long which puts you in the 44th percentile. You weigh 18lbs. 9 oz which puts you in the 67th percentile.
- Pretty much moving out of 6-9 month clothes, though the 9 month ones still fit. We're still hanging onto the size 3 diapers but they are getting snug.
- No change in the wonderful world of baby sleeping.
- There was one big change though:
- Maris Lee is officially mobile. You started rocking a whole lot, and finally made forward movement on Memorial Day. Mommy missed it.
- Eating continues to progress. Right now you tend to scream if the food isn;t coming fast enough. You love the baby cereal and all the foods we slowly introduce. Except of course, the green beans.
- We also added the little finger foods this month. Baby pups! Drives you nuts when they get a little soggy and stick to your fingers though.
- We're trying you out on a sippy cup this month too. Not a lot of progress.
- Along with the crawling comes new adventures. You are not afraid to venture off all on your own to see what you can find. Our house will have to take on new levels of child proofing.
- Fun discovery this month, you are thrilled about the vacuum. Like, overjoyed. It was even running in this picture! Trying to hit it is a fun game you like to play while we sweep the room. Our game: try not to suck up any baby fingers.
- That's about it for this fun month. We're excited to see what summer brings and all the new things you will find, love, and explore.
