Maris is 2 Months Old!
Maris Monthly Review - Issue 2
- You are growing. For real. 12lbs, 6oz which puts you in the 97th percentile for weight. 23 inches so 90th percentile for height.
- Which means you are barely fitting into those 3 month clothes. Size 1 diapers.
- You carry all that weight in your cute round belly, as evidenced in this picture of you in your Elsa Halloween costume. Infants in Tiaras anyone?
- Your sleeping has evolved in a good way recently. You usually go to bed around the same time as your brothers at 8:00ish. And you sleep all tucked into the Miracle Blanket until about 4am and sometimes later than that. We even had an 8:30 am wake up call one day - woo hoo!
Bed time for the littles - I've been really enjoying the increased awareness which leads to much less of the blank stare. Check out this eye contact!
- And you're a talker! I love the faces that come when your little mouth is trying to form sounds.
- But you're getting so good at it, and Larkin is your best teacher. He really wants you to learn how to say "Daddy" for some reason. You guys practice a lot.
- Other Maris habits... You spit. A LOT. So you are usually living in a bib. I never saw a use for those small fabric bibs since they are worthless when it comes to eating. Now I know their purpose. And now we own 30 of them.
- If you're rolling in the stroller, you're sleeping.
- If you're had a good nap and eaten a lot, you are my big smiley baby.
-
Maris, keep smiling for us!
